1996 Grizzly 700

My grizzly 700 wont hold gas it will if i turn the gas off but if its on it wont? Help

What do you have?

The first year for the griz was 98 and was only a 600, the 700 Griz wasn't produced until 2007. I am assuming it is pre-2007 and not a 700 because you can't shut the fuel off on a 700.
