No way!

I heard about guy he clocked one by using Stonehenge as a GPS sundial, by bouncing the signal off the North wall of the Great Pyramid of Giza, and routing it through a hub in Atlantis. The thing was clocked at 210 spherical miles per link....It was recorded to a special heat resistant hard drive on the Sun.......

What really makes the big difference in speed is whether you're going with, or against the earth's rotation.

Provided of course, the testing is done on earth.

Honestly, if you're having problems, post the symptoms. Just asking how fast the top speed is gonna get you just the type of answers you got.

Alright, a understand what you are saying. I have a 1998 Yamaha Wolverine 350 4x4 she starts right up and idles great. When I am running it wide open in 5th gear she is only at about 31mph and is real doggy. I have pulled the carb cleaned jets, changed the plug, and I am trying to figure out what I should expect out of this machine.

The first thing I'd suspect is that the pilot jet may still be clogged.

Have you checked the plug color? Could be a jetting issue as well.
