See, that makes no sense at all to me because Polaris is the #1 seller, yet it the most likely to leave your a** stranded in the middle of nowhere

I have seen 1 banshee (couple yrs ago), 3 warriors, and 3 blasters at my local yammy dealer, within the last three years! Its doubtful Ill see one this century.... The guy that owns the place is an old man into 4x4's and not sport machines whatsoever. I told him I would like a 2x4 chain drive wheeler and he told me to go to the polaris place nuff said. The honda place within the last 2 years has had 3 300ex's and 1 400ex... The kawasaki dealer had one mojave last year and it sold the same day. You can find any type of 4x4 in any color combination by any company but when it comes to sports machines they are few and far between.... too bad, the sports machines sell quick you'd think they'd order more?!

First off, Polaris is not, and has never been #1 in sales. That place has belonged to Honda for years. Polaris took over the #2 spot, formerly held by Yamaha, 2-3 years ago.

Second, I ride with five other Polaris quads, along with a mix of other brands. Not once has a Polaris from my group needed towed out of the woods. I did, however, have to tow a brand new 400 EX out of the woods once.

Third, I know four guys with Raptors. Only one owner hasn't had a problem yet. That's a 25% success rate, on a brand new $7000 quad.

I'm not trying to bash the Raptor, but I can't, for the life of me, think of another quad that was so overhyped, and have as many problems right out of the gate as the Raptor. I'd love to have one, and most likely will, but they'll have to work a lot of bugs out of it before I lay down 7 strong for one.

The Raptors have not had many poblems at all. Most of the things you here is made up. Come on 3 out of 4 broke? Give me a break, that is so lame. All bikes have problems but people like him make it sound liuke they are junk.
It is sad how people make up things just b/ they are jealous!!

SykoQuadRider,
I have had a couple of problems with mine and have had it since September. Incorrect machining on the carbs (from the factory), and now tranny problems. Last week when I spoke to the 3 dealers in my area. About half are having problems with the boots, starters and now tranny problems. I am an owner and will admitt, there are many problems to be addressed.
