Default Grizzly Owners

I have considered buying a new Griz. I have always run Hondas, and wanted to know what the longevity of these Grizzlies are. I have read alot about them, and they sound great. Any power steering problems? Belt issues? I weigh about 260 lbs, so I was gonna go big bore.
Any input would be great.
Thanks.
Munsk.

We have two 700 EPS Grizzly's. I used to run Polaris but got sick of the constant repair issues. One of them has close to 2K miles on it and no problems.

My buddy had a Rincon but went to the Grizzly and likes it better.

My buddy has a '08 Grizz with EPS, I have an '07 Kodiak 450, my bro-inlaw has a '06 Honda Foreman and his buddy has a '06 Polaris Sportman.

The Honda is good but behind the times in technology and is a back breaker. The Polaris is the worst of the bunch, decent ride but just not up to the task. The Grizz with EPS has never given a bit of problems and is driven hard. I like it the best.

My Kodiak has been through a lot too and it also hasn't had any problems at all.

+1 on lovin' the Grizz. I have a 700 w/ EPS and love it. I do not have enough hours/miles to comment on longevity but while I still like my Rubicon and use it for plowing, pulling a big mower, moving stuff around the yard, setting up deer stands, etc. - it's the grizz i take when I want to have fun. I could probably just do everythign i need a quad to do witht he Grizzly but didn't want to take the hit on selling/trading a low hours unit so i kept it and the way my son's Rancher is giving him carb problems &%(^!^*%!#&!$^ at least he can borrow the Rubi and we can still ride together.

You might want to concider the 550 Grizzly as well. I had a 07 700 and now have the 550. Of the two I like the 550 better, cannot explain why, but I do. I bought the non-power steering model just to keep things simple. Steering is as light as your going to find on any non-power steering big bore.

Jump on a 700 griz as fast as u can, and put GOOD 2" spacers all round, to stop the corner diving and go have a ball !!!!!!!!!!!

I went from a Rubicon to a 700 Grizzly, and other than the Rubicon having stability on sidehills and with heavy loads on the racks, the Grizzly is the superior quad. It's faster, rides smoother, has better brakes and ground clearance, and the locking front differential is an asset.
