yoshi spark arrestor

Cool yoshi spark arrestor

hi yall i have a full yoshi pipe on my warrior... i jetted the carb when i put the pipe... i also took off the spark arrestor cause i liked the sound.. my question is if i put back on the spark arrestor will i notice any power loss.. and will i need to rejet? should i even put it back on? thanks

nah the spark arrestor makes a very minimal change in noise and flow...you shouldnt have to rejet or anything, spark arrestors are just there to prevent any flaming debris like exhaust packing or just large sparks from backfire or something from being shot out of the pipe and causing a fire or anything its just a little safety thing, alot of parks require them specially ones with alot of trees around and such... youve prolly seen a pipe thats said forestry approved spark arrestor or something before.
