Default mounting winch 450 Griz

I've just ordered a 2500 warn winch for my new 09 450 Griz and was wondering where was the best place to mount the contactor. The directions say somewhere dry, maybe under the seat. Has anybody found a sweet spot for it? Where do the dealers mount it? Any input is appreciated. thanks

I have an o5 kodiak 450 with a warn 2500. My controler in under my seat. not that it stays dry all the time lol. Just make sure to put dielectric grease on everthing and check it from time to time. I have had mind under water many times and it is still working great (knock on wood) LOL!!

FWIW--

Rather than using dielectric grease, I coated the terminals of my contactor with "liquid electrical tape". This stuff dries to a vinyl/plastic coating that insulates and seals the terminals, won't wash off, and prevents the nuts/wires from coming loose.

That liquid electrical tape sounds like just the ticket. I'll have to check Radio Shack and get some of that stuff. I see all sorts of uses for it. Thanks guys.
