i got a new to me 96 wolverine when i got it the slide diaphram was bad replaced that then the intake rubber was leaking air replaces that now it still has a unstable idel and is poping back thru the carb when you rev it up takes a long time to kinda come back to a idle i had it running 5min tonite and the exhaust out of the head eas glowing any ideas im about to junk it

 

make sure the carb is properly cleaned. the pilot screw on the bottom of the carb (not the idle) run it all the way in and back it out two turns and adjust from there a 1/4 at a time till it stops acting up...
