I think it depends where u ride how good a machine is at wheeling.

Banshees are damn good at riding a wheelie on pavement, but not so great on anything a little loose cause they spin like a *******.

The 400EX is pretty easy to wheelie on most conditions. But when I rode one in a gravel pit, it seemed to be a little underpowed to get the front end up alot.

In that same gravel pit I could ride a wheelie all day on the raptor in second gear. Considering its power and in the conditions I've ridden in, the Raptor definately seems alot easier to wheelie than the 400EX.

My old Blaster wheelied good too, but was underpowered for riding them out for a LONG time.

I found Warriors pretty easy to wheelie too in everything except gravel. And I've seen some people riding some nice wheelies with them on grass/pavement.

Overall I think on pavement and grass you could make an argument for any of the machines I listed as being the best. But I definately think on gravel the Raptor by far wheelies the best and easiest because it has the tourque and good radial tires to grip in the gravel. Those are the only machines that I have really ridden so I can't speak for the others. But as far as I can see overall I would rate them as.

On Pavement/Hard Pack:
1. 400EX
2. Raptor
3. Banshee
4. Warrior
5. Blaster

Grass/Loose terrain:
1. Raptor
2. 400EX
3. Blaster
4. Warrior
5. Banshee

I have a 300ex and can honestly get it topped in 5th on a wheelie.I pull it up in 1st or second bring it up to where it balances and just bang gears and adjust my weight from there. The real problem is the wind and the front fenders kinda get a little squirly(sp?)I LOVE TO WHEELIE!

My blaster has no grab bar so i kinda try and stay away from real steep wheelie's.Plus hardly no rear brakes doesn't help either.

my 250r was good for wheelie's stock but now it is a little crazy with the power band and all.

moded out 86 trx250r
97 300ex
90 blaster
(used to be jeepin)

Hey guys~
why hasn't anybody mentioned the 250r or lt250? I've never ridden either of them, so I don't know firsthand how well they can wheelie. Can somebody tell me why they're not in the list?

I adjusted the floats on my Raptor and that cured my sputtering problem. With the White Brothers pipe and Dynojet kit the throttle response is so snappy and it makes so much more tourque that it requires a lot more throttle control to wheelie in 1st gear.

well since theres still snow and ice on the the ground i have only been able to wheely my LT on pavement. to be honest i wish it was better. i can pop it up a little bit with a big dose of throttle in 1st gear. its easy to get up high if you sit back in the seat and pop the clutch. 2nd gear is hard to wheelie in even with the clutch.

The reason noone is tawkin' bout em R's is cause the discussion is about currently manufactured quads.I like doin wheelies on my Warrior but I'm not all that good I just need some more practice! :^)

Those little kiddy quads are by far the best wheeliers!! You can litterally pull wheelies forever on them!

I had my raptor get away from me on a wheelie and it rode a wheelie by itself standing straight up on the grab bar for at least a 100 feet than the gear caught and fell back down. Funniest thing i ever watched happen. haha

nah the best quad for wheelies ever was my friends 300EX with skateboard wheels welded onto the grab bar. you could ride wheelies as long as you wanted. heh heh i know thats kind of cheating.
