Hey guys, I tend to try and figure this stuff out myself but I don't have time right now and I hope someone has a quick answer for me. Was out riding the other day on my Warrior (in sig) and all was great, until I shut it off. When I restarted I got a crazy loud clanking metal sound, but it still started.

I have deduced it's not the engines internals (thank God) as the bike still does start and run fine, just making that crazy *** noise. I am thinking starter clutch, but maybe just the starter too since I'm on my third in 2 years since the rebuild and a damn kid I was letting ride it put it away dirty and wet--leading me to think dirt/water in starter brushes perhaps.

Let me know if you have any ideas.
