Ok, long story short. Always had atv's. Recently came across a deal I couldnt pass up. Picked up an 02 yz250f 4 stroke dirtbike. Although its been a hell of a learning curve Im getting the hang of it. Question is can I convert this to a thumb throttle? I just cant seem to get a grip on it. Every bump seems to put me on the rear wheel. Have a street bike too but thats way different. Anyway, can it be done? Are parts common or will I need to fab something up? Thanks ahead of time.

 

might be possible but dont know how good it would work. As you have found out riding a bike is a bit different than a quad. Ride some more and try to get use to the twist grip imop it is safer on a bike than a thumb throttle would be.Also remember the bars on a bike turn more than those on a quad.
