Default wolverine charging system?

i had my wolvie at trailfest in wv. heres what happened. first and second day i had to jump my battery to start it. the rest of the day it was fine. would shut off and start fine rest of the day. third day i went in the morning and it started right up. only problem this time was during the day when i would shut it off the battery was dead. drove it back to camp and charged the battery for awhile. then when i went out later it would start and run fine. but i noticed that while i was in the parade that as i drove more the lights were getting dim. i would think that it is not the battery because once you are running the bike should be running off its own charging system... right? what should i do and where should i start. thank you in advance for your help guys........

Sounds like it is not charging, start checking all the connections and the fuse and then get a meter and while running disconnect the bat to see if you get some voltage
