Just an open invitation... I'll be there anyway, so will many other Raptors. It's good for some of these folks to get into racing. They learn a lot & become better (and more humble) riders.

The season opener is this weekend. It's gonna be sloppy. Haven't decided if I'm gonna fight the mud or not... I had been looking forward to going. I've been racing the HillbillyGP so far this winter, it's a fun series, but many of the events have been cancelled due to weather.

Good luck with the hand.... Hopefully we'll meet at an event this year.

If it's the best all around quad, where do I put my ice chest full of beer?
How do I haul my nine point back to camp?
Maybe if I tie a rope to it and go 68mph It will get airborn and float behind me!!

i had a 400 ex and rode raptors. my 400 ex would destroy a raptor in tight wooded trails>>>no doubt. the 400ex is awesome for that purpose. im not bashing the raptor,, there both good quads, but when it comes to woods racing the 400ex would definately prevail. i dont have the 400ex anymore because i traded it for a banshee, soim not saying this because i have the honda.

scrumbler, duh yourself.
I know what he was talking about once I read the post. That's not what the title said though.
I WAS JUST MAKING A JOKE.
"All around" used to mean- a little good at everything. Kind of like a wolverine.
But thanks for setting me straight, maybe now I can quit wondering what all them funny little acronyms ment.

derekhonda,
Sure I can meet you at the Badlands in Attica. Cedar Lake is 1 1/2 hours north of Attica, straight down 41.
Anyway, when you get your quad fixed, let me know. Look forward to hearing from you.

it all has to do with the rider, and no matter how good you are you can't test ride any machine to its fullest potential by hopping off one and on to another

I was just out in Attica this weekend, and I know for a fact that the 400 EX, is better in a tight woods situation. I own a Raptor, and I love the thing, but facts are facts. Now if I geared it down in the front and maybe change the tires(The machine is stock) it would probably fare better. A 400EX is just as the article said."Easy to ride fast". I think that with some time you could be faster on a Raptor, but you would have to work harder.A Raptor is a fun ALL AROUND machine.
By the way, I'll race you all in the woods with my WR400!!
Happy Trails
