Hey guys, this is going to be my first ATV purchase and I was just wondering what I should offer or what would be a good deal for a brand new 09 Yamaha Grizzly 450 4x4 IRS? All the dealerships around here have it listed for $6799.00. Thanks!!

 

Holy cow! I'm pretty sure you can get a 700 Grizzly for around that here. I think that I paid 6k with a winch for mine.

Good luck with your choice. The mid size class of ATV is very competitive be sure too look at all makes of bike and ask for test rides to be sure of the one you want!

 

around 6000 including taxes and winch for mine as well.

 

I called another dealership (The closest one to me that I prefer to deal with and have the better customer service IMO) ,They offered me $100 less and 10% off accessories for the life of the ATV so I would " give them the business". He also said I should try and talk to the parts guys and see if they will give me some more deals with the purchase.

Acording to this dealership, and I heard this from a couple of other dealerships so Im not sure if its Salesman pitch or they are actually telling the truth, that I am getting the ATV almost at dealer's cost with this offer and they are only going to be making $150 or so on the deal.

Should I now call the other dealerships with this offer and see if they will beat it or be "loyal" to this dealership that offerered the $100 lower price and 10% off accessories.?
