Default Banshee mods.

So today i was racing at the dunes with 450s and raptor and a couple other banshees. I raced two 450's and won both of them! lol Anyways i realized i would like to see what else i could do to my banshee. It is a stock motor with only boltons. Toomey t6 pipes, v-force 3 reeds K&n airfilter & pods +3 timing plate. I was thinking of getting bigger carbs? or a boost bottle? I heard bigger carbs are a bang for the buck but some people say boost bottle is junk? is tthat true? Another thing i need to know is were i can get my head milled. I either want to get the head milled or ported.

Can i take my banshee to Yamaha and have them do it?

dont let no stocker machine on your quad let a pro do it..porting a 2 stroke is no easy task...talk to these guys will help u lots..bigger carbs give u mainly low end torque.and boost bottles work but unless your motor is super built you wont notice much from it. Banshee Prodcuts

Yeah i think i am going to stick to all bolt ons for a while and see what my banshee can do.

Maybe in the future i will look into porting. i will definitely keep that site you sent me in mind. Thanks a lot.

You know, you sound a whole lot like a budy of mine who also has a banshee. He has a stock motor and all bolt ons and he bought every single one of them used from bansheehq.com and he didn't even spend over 700$ dollars.

trinity stage 4 pipes, K&N air filter/pods, v-force 3 reeds, reed spacers. 35mm carbs, +4 timing plate. All bolt on mods and he has no intention in getting any more mods. It is quite fast, reliable and a whole lot of fun to ride. He beats lots of 450s raptors and even other banshees with a lot more money into them then his banshee all day long. Now ofcourse he will not hang with a heavier modded wheeler but damn.. 700$ in mods. your mouth would drop open after you see what a basnhee can do with bolt ons.

Carbs can do a lot depending on the size, kind, and riding you do. Oh and all a boost botle does is put a hole in your intake boot so i dont advise you to get one. =)

Here is a video for you.

You really dont need to get into engine work to make your shee fast bro. If you stick to bolt ons it will be reliable and fast.
