A warrior is not the mx-ing type. It is too slow off the bottom end, and not a very good jumper, and those two things are basically what mx is. You would have to mod your warrior out like crazy to get it to even stand a chance. If you are serious about mx buy a 250r or a 400ex. There isnt anything wrong with a warrior, it is a great trail quad, just isnt meant for mx.

I'll tell ya, the quad is good enough to race MX with. I placed 2nd this year on my 98 in the AMA District 14 of michigan 4 stroke class. It is a little heavy but jumps fine. I can take a 50' table top no problem. Just work on the suspension first before anything. The engine has what it needs to compete, but if the suspension isn't good enough, you will be bouncin around all over the place. At Nationals at Red Bud in Michigan, i placed 12th in the 4 stroke c class out of 18, all but me were 400ex's. Its not as much the quad as it is the rider.

I sure hope you did suspension work on that warrior.... I had one...and a 50ft jump (unless landing down hill) will hurt for sure.

OK well since im an idiot i will point something out, You have a very heavily modded warrior, lots of engine stuff, that would make up for the not much power comment, and the other guy has shocks and that might make it jump a little better. But you could race a 400ex stock.

I have Works A-T Steeler fronts. And, regardless of what bike you are on and what suspension you have, if you land flat on a 50' table, it hurts. No suspension I have ever seen will soak up that force. As far as mods, there is only about 1000 in mods, and by the way, I eat stock 400ex's.
