Yamaha warrior towing capability
I am going to get a trailer hitch for my 2000yamaha warrior. If I got one will it be worth it and could it pull big trailers? What do you think the max towing weight can be.I am mainly going to use it to pull a trailer with my chainsaw and rakes and the brush I cut down to make some trails at my cattle lease. Also where can I get a trailer hitch and what size ball is the standard size?

I don't know if I would pull a trailer with my warrior but i would think it could pull a small lawn trailer. All you would need for that is a place to drop the trailer hitch pin through. You are probably going to have to fab it up yourself though, because I have never seen any kinda hitch for a warrior.

I used to tow a Swisher mower with my Warrior. But they are not really very heavy and the weight is centered well. IIRC the Warrior hitch is only rated for a couple hundred pounds (250-300 maybe) to begin with.
A small yard trailer filled up would be too much..... I think a basic 10 cubic yard trailer will hold around 600-800 pounds max, and that would be way too much for a Warrior.

For what its worth...I attached my dad's little lawn mower trailer to the chain guard to pull my two kids around the yard. My kids are 4 and 5, so together they only weight ~125 lbs and the trailer itself can't be over 50 lbs. I am 220lbs myself. My warrior still pulls like they are not even there. For what its worth, I did go down to a 12 tooth front sproket, so that, combined with my mods, gives me a little more low end grunt than a stock warrior.
