Right on, hope i can help... the YFZ450R is a pretty technical and advanced machine. I started with GYTR full exhaust, filter and adapter asm. lid removed. first dyno run 38.6 hp. then had slight head porting, and power commander installed map #m22-007-002 ran 43.2 hp. i was very happy with that, but wanted more, we figured since the head was ported lets try gytr cams, we messed around with dynoing her and got around 48 hp. peak, but she ran hot, stumbled, and hesitated. got her really smooth at 46.2 hp. i installed the p.c. map toggle switch to go back and forth between the maps. the 46.2 falls out a bit early but pulls super hard straight up. the other map installed is super smooth and i use mainely... their is a ton of after market that is good, but GYTR was designed for yamaha and works great. (personal preference). game on was cool. let me know if you need more details... tell us about your machine.

Thank you very much for the info. Yep just joined! I was telling my buddy about it and he asked if I knew where we could take our machines to run them on a Dyno. I told him I would ask you if your mechanic would do that for us and how much he would charge to do so? I was also wondering what you guys thought about a turbo on the yfz. How much wear and tear on the engine? Is there a lot more maintenance or just more frequent maintenance? All I have on my machine is the gytr air filter, gytr full exhaust, and the pc5 I Didnt have money last summer to do to much to it but I plan on putting some work into this summer I'm new to putting upgrades on Ive always had stock machines. So any info is much appreciated. Thanks again.
