Well just got back from the dyno and I think im happy with the results considering whats done to the bike. So far bike has a power commander, trinity air intake and i modfied the air box my self also removed the cork from the stock exhaust. Incase you cant read the sheets final numbers where hp 46.51 and tq 30.79.

i have a yfz450r with practically the same mods. gytr full exhaust, intake, slight head porting, and a power cammander. my current fuel map is #m22-007-002. max 43.2hp. i looked at your dyno sheet and it looks really smooth. no fall outs, hesitations, or burps. do you mind sharing your map# did you make that map? if so great job. thanks... but i also understand if you want to keep that one a secret.

I don't have any exhaust on it still has the factory exhaust on it also dont have any head porting done. It has a power commander, trinity air intake, corky removed and modifed air box i did my self. Your numbers should be higher then mine did you have it dyno tuned? We started with map M22-007-503 and then fine tuned it on the dyno.

hay cool, thanks for the help. our local yamaha mechanic is pretty good, i leave my "R" in his hands. he told me at the time, "july" that the map he installed was the latest but he said he was also knew to the p.c.5 himself, he said the map he installed was a "clean burn"? map. i'm extremely happy with the results, but i also am power hungry and want to get the most out this p.c. i'm most impressed about how clean and smooth your graph charts looked with that h.p. gain. come tuesday i'm going to go over this with him and see what we can do, strap it back on the dyno and go from there. once again great job and sweet machine...

Danatack,
I was just reading your post and seen you are in Cheyenne Wyoming, I live in Rawlins Wyoming, I was going to tell you that at our elevation we lose a lot of power, I think its anywhere between 15% to 20% so your numbers should be lower than his since he is at sea level even with the upgrades you will barely get to his number. At sea level your machine should have about 50 hp if we really lose 15% power. That is pretty damn good. Considering the machine has 36hp stock. Anyway I hope that helps.

Thanks for the engine management refresher, i thought about volumetric efficency being 14.7:1 sea level and cheyenne is about half of that, i bet people wonder how we breath up here...lol My yamaha mecanic and i tryed some different p.c. maps and dyno tune. he installed another map that increased my H.P. a bit more, but i use it strickley for low end drag up a dune bowl. I switch between the maps with a toggle. the only problem is that second map is so unstable. he reminded me of the same thing you said... over all i'm very happy with the results, and i'm afraid if i try to squeeze any more nuts out of it, with more mods, i'll find my self rebuilding her every ten hours. anyway my first mecanic job was in rawlins back in 92' worked for Kar Kraft, mr. herrick and crew are a great bunch of guys... how are those dunes some where over buy you, called "killpecker"...

92 huh, I was 8 years old in 92 lol. I remember kar craft though. If you dont mind me asking what have you put into your machine I read the first post did you use the GYTR equipment or something else? I was looking at running the GYTR setup but I cant get anyone to give me numbers you would be the first person to have any numbers on the setup. I have been to those dunes once it wasnt to bad, we usually ride up at Seminoe which isn't any better but its close to town. We plan on going back to St. Anthony's again this summer if you havent been there you need to go it is awesome. I lived in cheyenne for awhile we ran the gaming center in the mall there called Game On that was about 4 years ago.
