I'm new to the site, I'm trying to find what kind of ATV I have, I know it's a Yamaha Moto 4 with the following # ( 28t-001148 ) off the motor, any help would be appreciated, the reason I need this is so I can find a muffler for it

Since you said it was a moto 4, I am taking a guess that it is the 200 cc and not the 80 cc. I think that the 200 cc was not made any more after 1987 or 88. Being that old your best bet would be to buy an after market slip-on. Most of the time after market is cheaper then stock. I'd check out denniskirk.com or bikebandit.com

i know that the oem mufflers are alot so aftermarket will be best. i had trouble with identifying my moto all got was it was an 86.I took pic of it and took them to my local atv shop the told me what it was quick.

the yfm350ert was in 87 and a yfm350er was in 88 and 90 according to yamaha parts fiche

 

I really appreciate everyone's help on this, any idea where I can find a good deal on a muffler for it ?
