Default Bored over?

So my yamaha warrior atv quad has a piston in it, the guy told me its bored .50 over.. what does that mean?

Does that mean its not a 350 cc anymore? what cc would it be with this bored over?

Also would this make a noticable difference in power?

There's a 366 and 435 bore kit from these guys. Welcome to Four Stroke Tech.net! look under engine products.

Not sure if .5 adds up to a 50cc increase, cant do the math. LOL

Bored 50 over means the cylinder has been made bigger by 50 thousandths of an inch (.050"). This isn't very much and will not make a noticeable difference in power by itself. A 366cc kit is when you bore it .080" over (maxed out with the stock cylinder), so .050" over is more like 357cc.

The reason the 366cc kit adds more power is because it uses a higher compression piston than stock, and that's where the power comes from, not just because it's bigger.

.40 over is 357 .50 over is about 358, the power difference is most likely very small
depending on what piston it is and such.
