I would check the back of the package because I have seen some that say DO NOT use on plastic. I have never used car wax but I have used Mop-n-Glo and it works very good!

Use finish 2001 and then get some armorall tire foam and spray on your entire quad this gets all the lines/hoses whatever shining like new and its simple spray on and walk away!

Funny but my buddy has a 01 Banshee and he always uses degreaser first, rinses of the bike, then he uses Armourall and it always looks like new once he's done.. He did a good job on my wolv. a couple times and it works really good..

The ArmorAll works fine when you apply it. It reduces the appearances of scratches, etc. But when you get it wet it turns white. Ie. Put it on a trailer, and when you get where you are going, it turns all white.

I would use it if they were going to sit in the garage, or take a picture, or sell it.

It does make the machines look glossy.

I've used Turtle Wax on my 93 Kodiac and the job came out fine. My fenders are pretty scratched up and the wax was easy to remove. When I noticed that the wax was stuck in a deep scratch I would use my fingernail with the rag and took it out. By waxing my atv it brought the color out and mud is now easy to remove from the fenders. Without a doubt I'm going to do it again once the snow is gone.

I use Finish 2001 Super vinyl protectant. You spray it on and start rubbing around and it gets kinda sticky, then as you rub it turns hard like wax looks great.

I used *Son Of A Gun* protector / cleaner after washing the quad and letting it dry. Don't bother wiping around, under the fenders etc.. just spray it all over. The mud doesn't stick and makes it easier to clean next time. For the engine I used your typcial foam spray engine cleaner. But, that didn't last. Next mud run it just baked on again.

I like the mop & Glo idea. I will have to give that a try.
