I have a spark plug question....not sure if this has been asked before, but i'm running a d8ea, and i've ran a dr8ea plug in it as well(factory plug) and they both seem to "foul out" fast.....i'm wondering if i'm possibly running the wrong plug for the engine upgrades?

it has a dg pipe, jetted carb, and to my knowledge the 466 big bore kit, it might be the smaller one but the amount of power it has has me second guessing.....

if someone could break down the lingo of spark plug numbers for me that'd be great so i can maybe figure some of it out myself in the future should i mod any quads myself.

 

Try a hotter plug. The lower the number the hotter the plug. try a 7 next time.
