Default i need some help with my warrior and no spark

ok the weather has turned better.. and im out here messin with my quad..

it is a 91 warrior

i have a no spark...

i ohm tested the ignition coil the way the service manual suggested.. and the primary coil tests to .3Ω my tester auto selects the scale.. so. it fluctuated between .3 and .4Ω the manual says .36 -.48Ω

the secondary coil tested to 7.75kΩ it is technically out of spec... the range is supposed to be.. 5.44 -7.36kΩ

i tested the stator... i checked the 3 white wires first.. one was .6 fluctuating between .6 and .7Ω and the other white wire was .7Ω

i then checked what the manual said was the source coil. it tested at 300Ω within range of the 270 -330Ω

i then checked the pickup coil... the range is 171 - 209Ω it tested at 220Ω

so... a few things out of spec... but.. there should be no reason it wouldnt fire? or atleast give out a weak spark?

when i check the coil while cranking.. i get no voltage not even a flash..

i checked the plug by grounding it to the head.. i get nothing.

my nuetral switch doesnt work... because you can crank the bike whil in gear.. and i dont have a clutch switch nor a parking brake switch.. the clutch switch looks to be long gone and the wires were run into eachother like you are supposed to do.

so while in the middle of typing this... i rechecked the coil whil in my hand... and ended up snappng the coil wire away from the coil itself..... so i need a new coil now...lol

With those specs it seems like all is well, the CDI might be the culprit i would try to borrow a CDI from a friend or the dealer if you know them well and swap em to see if thats your problem.

i was hoping you would reply....

i too live in the burg...

i was hoping maybe you had some parts i could get off you... or.. you could bring your quad by and i could overlook yours and compare to mine... my wiring harness is a wreck and id like to make sure its all going in the right place...

and perhaps i could borrow your CDI... or.. you could test my parts and see if you agree that maybe my parts are bad?

i did all my tests today... and id like someone else to do them so i can see if they get the same results and we agree that its something before i go spending money on parts i dont need...

so if you could help me out... that would be awesome.

i live off berkeley station road.... im free all week... all day..lol

oh wow you live in mburg? thats crazy im located by the city hospital in briarwood, yea my warrior needs a new carb so it wont run right now but i got alot of spare parts, CDI and other stuff, i also have a spare frame, plastics, brake stuff and more down in Va at a barn, i didnt have room to keep it where im at now so i just had to leave it behind, should still be there...if you want the spare frame and other stuff you could have it, im usually pretty busy but im off on mon and tues unless i get called in, after i get the carb fixed theres a good chance i might let it go and get a dirtbike again, still undecided.
