What does this mean? I know it has something to do with the rear suspension and swingarm but I dont know exactly. Is one better than the other?

Quads with linkage can soak up little bumps better but with no linkage it does not bottom out as easy on big jumps.

Linkage is when there is a 2 peice linkage off the bottom of the shock to the frame and the swingarm, Without it the shock is just bolted directly to the swingarm. Dunno what the pros/cons are as have never tried one without linkage...

Yes the banshee has a linkage swingarm. Just remembered one of the pros to the linkage type setup, They allow for a bit of a progressive suspension rate with a single rate shock. (Stock banshee setup).
