Does a 12 tooth sprocket make a big difference?

 

It gives alo out of the hole but takes too much off top end.

 

I makes a big difference! Especially in trail or low speed riding. Yes, you may lose a little of the top end but how often does a person ride at 75mph?

I think the small sacrifice for top end for better low end is well worth it.
