Default Warrior with no spark

Hey. I just joined and have a question. I have an 87 Warrior with a new Ricky stator, good CDI and no spark. I've checked the ign switch and kill switch. I've tried a couple coils and still no luck. Any thing I'm missing??? Any help would be appreciated.

How do you know the CDI is good? Check to make sure the stator is putting out its voltage. Its like 60vac I think. Then check the wiring from the stator to the CDI and VR. My wires were all chaffed and mangled under my seat and that was doing the same thing.

The guy I got the quad from had 2 87's. He had swapped out the CDI's and verified the one on my bike was good. He also put on a new Ricky stator and I've tried a couple different VR's. He bought a total of 3 different CDI's thinking they were bad then purchased another running 87 Warrior, did the CDI swap and found all the CDI's he had bought were good. I've never seen anything like this in the past. I checked the wiring harness yesterday as you siggested and can't see anything. Any other idea's???

disconnect the stator and while trying to start it check the voltage(not the big white connectors but the smaller connector). I know this may sound stupid but put a new plug in as well if you have not already done so and charge the battery. If youve tried known good coils, known good CDi's, youve checked the swtiches, the wires from the stator all the way to the coil then to me it would be either a plug or the stator. Check voltage and let me know. Also check the spade connectors in the harness at the stator. I had one that was pushed out slightly and it caused my warrior not to fire as they were not being properly connected even though the harness was snapped in.
