You are joking about not being able to hit 55mph on the 450 right? My 07 grizz 450 hit over 55 with no power mods and 26 zillas. Now I have done clutch work and hit 55 with more to go on the throttle. My buddy has the 07 wolvy 450 with a hmf, jetted and clutch shim and wieght swap and that thing hits 60+ easy.

I have a Wolverine 450 and Grizzly 450 and stock my Wolverine used to hit 53 and the Grizzly 55 but the Grizzly need more time to acheive top speed. Since they have almost the same transmission (exept for low range), maybe it´s because of the tires. The Wolverine has 23inch and the Grizzly 25inches. That thing creates lower gearing. Now with the Hauck clutch work my Wolverine hits 58 mph, and acheives it very soon.

Talking about new models for 2011, It would great if Yamaha keep selling the Wolverine 450 and add a Wolverine 700 just like can am sells the Renegade 500 and 800. I would buy one right now...but I has to be solid axle.
