I see a ton of them here in Co so that might not count for all over the states but you see a lot of reviews on them a people that have them LOVE them so it would be a good business decision for Yamaha to NOT get rid of them! There have not been a major revision on the since they changed from a Warrior to a Wolverine, and a little bit at that!

I agree, they made the last Wolverine in 2005, that poor excuse they make now is a slap in the face to the original idea of the sport-ute that was the Wolverine. Just taking a Kodiak with the so so 421 cc, and belt drive, slapping Raptor plastic on it and calling it the new Wolverine really made me mad. Would it have been so hard to put a semi auto 450 -500 redesigned Wolverine on the market? "Bold new graphics" and the same plastic as every other model gets old after while, half the inventory is "Raptor", the other "Grizzly", with only a couple models spared, the Big Bear, and Kodiak. What was wrong with Blaster, Banshee,Warrior, etc, the names that got Yamaha going in the quad business? This is mostly the reason I've kept my 95 Wolverine fixed up, nothing they have now seems to be a good replacement, my choices are so limited, I've almost considered brand jumping to get the options I want.

I liked the first 350 Wolverines better, thay were the lightest 4wd EVER made at 485lb,even lighter then the old 250 4wd. I could hit almost 55 mph which I,m not sure the newer 450 could, its down fall was no selectable 2wd/4wd for power sliding and to tall of a first gear.

I could get behind that, the sporty, powerful 550 fuel inj motor in a sportier chassis, now that would be a real Wolverine
