yea 366 kit is pretty common, JE 366 is a real good one to go with, dont know of any other good ones, its worth it if you needed a rebuild anyways and want a little power improvement, its not a big difference but it will give u a tad bit of power.

Sweet, thanks. I'm still kicking around the 366 idea, but maybe in the winter. I'm not looking for a beast, just a bit more ***** than stock. Something to go with an exhaust, jetting, filter, shorter tires, and shocks.

yep the 10.5-1 comp je piston is best, but to feel the full potential you should do a cam and springs NO HOTCAMS, they suck

yea hotcams are very mild and are supposedly made to be used with stock valve springs which is bs....if you got a big cam toss the stockers for some good ones like webb or kibblewhites or something...

The JE kit is good, but don't expect a whole lot of power increases without other mods. But the Warrior engine is not a powerhouse and never will be, so it would be wise to ride it like it is and save the money for a faster quad later.

+1 I own a warrior and while it is very fun and bullet proof it is not real powerful. My wife now owns it and I have just a 400ex and the warrior has no chance next to it and it is only 50cc more. So in short save the cash and upgrade later. But it is all up to you, thats just my $.02.

no there not....i guess if you really wanted to you can make anything put out hp...even a weedeater, i love warriors but they are not power builders, a warriors maximum potential power wise is about equal to a stock 450 thats around there borderline which is the FST 446 plus other crap, but the money to do that is just insane and not worth it at all unless your rich, dont care and love warriors but its not ideal at all...i mean warriors are one of the first sporty atvs to come out...the first atv was in 84...warriors came about in 87 and remained near the same throughout there life...thats an old quad, what do you expect lol.

Who would waste the time to put a Warrior on a dyno?

What's the point to dump all of that money into the engine to make it faster, when you can buy stock machines for $2500-3000 that will beat a modded Warrior. Take it from me, I had a Warrior with the 446 kit, cam, valves, port work, pipe, etc, etc, etc, and it would still only run close to a stock YFZ450. Not to mention the suspension sucked - even with Works shocks and extended a-arms & axle. For the money I had in it, I could have bought a nice Raptor 700 that would have WAY out-performed the Warrior. Don't get me wrong, the Warrior is still a nice trail quad, but it's a waste of money to mod the engine out.
