You will be fine running the other oil. Remember, motorcycle makers don't make their own oil.

Or "FULLl" synthetic instead of Yamalube "blend/semi/mineral" which is 10% synthetic with a 100% synthetic price.

Synthetic Vs. Synthetic Blend Motor Oil | eHow.com

Warning

Synthetic blend motor oils do not offer much to the costumer, and are marketed because they are extremely cheap for manufacturers to produce.
The amount of synthetic motor oil content in synthetic blend motor oil is 10 percent or less.

Switch to Amsoil,Mobile1 ,Royal Purple if you want to hold off your next rebuild longer.

Yamalube ad if you think its Synthetic http://www.powerpartsplus.com/pages/...rformance.aspx

ok, im thinking about switching to synthetic, should it be ok if ive already run conventional for 350miles? and i was looking around for royal purple, but no place around here carries it, but one dealer i talked to stocked this stuff AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke 0W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil and told me it was much better than royal purple, i figured at 11 bucks a quart it better be , anyway is that a good oil to run?

Kawaski oil is also just a semi blend synthetic.Kawasaki Launches New Line of Performance Oils - ATV / UTV Oil

Any oil is fine but synthetic is the best in extreme temps, hot or cold.

It takes twice as long to break its properties down so it evens out in the end.
