04 Wolverine 350
Found a great deal on an 04 Wolverine 350...been trying to look around and find some reviews but mostly all I see is info on the 450 model.
We do a lot of trail riding some of it can get pretty muddy...but nothing too serious as it would be my wife riding this bike for the most part. Anybody that owns one want to chime in on how the suspension is? I've been told by the boss that she wants something that rides like our 06 Sportsman...I know these Wolverines don't have the same suspension but is it even close? What about riding 2up?...There are times when its easier to just load up one of the wheelers than loading both...I'm 170lbs and shes 120lbs...
Thanks for the input guys!

The 95-05 Wolverine is a great little do -all sport utility quad, still driving my 95 I bought new. It is light, easy steering, has good power for a 490 lb quad with a 348cc motor. The fenders, while nice and wide, are open towards the engine, for air flow, so you get a lot of cross splash on the feet and legs if you hit puddles hard. I imagine you could put some plastic or rubber flaps in to block some of that, without compromising air flow. On the trail, it handles more like a sport quad, easy to get the back end sliding around corners if you lean into it. With the addition of the Warn 424, you can disconnect the front, and really powerslide the corners, plus it frees up more power, making trail riding even more fun.At your size, 2 up would not be a problem, just not a lot of room on the footpeg area for 2 sets of feet. The motor shares most of its parts with the Warrior/Big Bear, so parts are easy and plentiful to find. With front and rear racks, it can haul gear, gas cans, etc.,I've used mine to pull a mower, logs, drag deer out of the woods, raced on a moto cross track, made 3 trips to the dunes with it, it is not the king of any area, but a great compromise for someone who wants to mud, trail, and play all in the same day.
