Default Carb?

I would start by checking/cleaning the carb/airbox. Sounds like a fuel issue to me...does it have spark at all times? Will it run if you use a starting fluid of some sort?

check the keyway on the flywheel it could have shered and you are not getting spark at the right time look at the timing marks and the fireing marks
