Hello my 03 Kodiak 450 after pressure wash (got into some nasty mud and water) it my have happen from the wash or the mud but last Sunday went to go out and the 4wd will not work no servo noise when switching or indication on the lcd, have checked the relays, fuse, switch (4wd / diff. lock) all are good with testing with a ohm meter, so I pulled the servo off and used a 3vdc to check the motor and it works fine so opened the servo to look at the contacts and all looks good now my problem is how to reset the servo before putting back in there are no paint marks and I did take the pinion gear off.

Anyone have any tips or solutions? Thanks

 

Found the problem it was the contacts inside the servo cleaned off the yellow grease of the contact area applied new dielectric grease and bent the contacts out a little for better contact, sealed back up connected the harness and tested outside the diff. 2wd, 4wd and diff. lock all work put back to 2wd and slid the selector left and put the servo back in and tested with the front tires off the ground it works better than before the diff. lock respond faster.
