Default Banshee sprocket issues

Hey fellas,
I wanted to gain a little top end so I wouldn't have to shift as much but not lose the acceleration on my 04 banshee. So I went with a 40 tooth rear and 14 front and 102 link chain but it won't reach. I did have 104 links but it was way too loose. What do you suggest I do now?

you can buy additional links to make it fit, like half links, then later on after the chain wears in some you might be able to remove it.

Yeah I had that idea too but can't find any half links for a o-ring chain.
