A nice review of the 2011 Grizz 450 w/EPS!

What bugs me the most is $7500.00 in 2007 got you a brand new redesigned Grizzly 700 with Fuel Injection and Power Steering. I believe prices are creeping up simply because people will pay them, not because they are necessary. I wonder how long this trend can last.
As a new rider, I am looking at a $40,000 to start. 25K for a decent used 'tow truck', 2k for a trailer, and 13k for a reasonably equipped SxS. And I have to tow it 6 hrs one way to ride it. That's a lot of cash to amuse oneself.
I don't see how the market can last.

I like the part.
"suck the life out of the average recreational" Please give us a break it never nearly that bad.
I guess I,m not average,I thought I rode some rough slow trail, but I never had sore ames even after 30 mile runs, heck some times I only use one arm and have a drink in the other. Is it just me?
They lighten up the frame but gain weight with power steering.
Show me a 10% lighter frame and I,ll show you a 10% weaker frame,The early Can Am outlanders found that out the hard way, some times people buy Utility ATV to pull stumps and push snow.
With the biggest news being the power steering one might immediately begin to dream of a stress free casual trail ride without the annoying arm pump and intimidating tough rocky sections that seem to suck the life out of the average recreational trail rider

Choose any two identical quads one with PS and one without ride the same terrain and then tell me which makes you more tired. Power steering does have its advantages tho the author did make it souns as if it does everything for you. It does as quoted and that for me is why I will not another 4x4 without it!
"This award winning set up is torque and speed sensing engineered to reduce any nasty feedback, which helps reduce fatigue at the same time. The power steering also helps absorb sudden shock from trail debris like rocks and stumps, which allows the rider to maintain control."
As far as the weight issue goes it can be argues all day long but IMHO Yamaha makes the Most competent pound for pond frame out there. I dare anyone to find someone who has a complaint on any current Yamaha Grizz frame!
