Default YFZ450R clutch switch ?

Hey guys i bought some ASV C-5 pro levers for my 09' yfz450R, my question is what is the common remedy for the clutch switch since the ASV, GYTR, and some other brand clutch perches don't have the slot for the clutch switch. my guess is every one is just closing the circuit, thanks for any feed back...

Cut the wires, twist the bare ends together, seal them off from the elements and tape them out of the way. The only downfall with this is the machine will turn over even when in gear with clutch engaged. It would be possible to go for a "little" ride during start up if you aren't paying attention.
