Default Has anyone snorked their big bear?

I have a 08 big bear 400, and was thinking about snorking it. I heard that the bb is hard to jet.

you DO mean SNORKELING, right?

there are no BB-specific kits that I have ever heard of, so you will be on your own to fabricate one up to fit.

If you can fit a 3" diameter system (PVC/whatever) without too many turns, you can probably get by without having to rejet, but given that you will be doing a lot of disassembly to get things to fit, it won't b e too much additional work to rejet if you can't get a 3" system to fit up

good luck, and post pics if you get it working

Default Yea

I've got a pritty good idea on how to run the pvc, however the rejeting scares me a little. I've done some research on the web about snorkeling a big bear and found that big bears are hard to get the air/fuel mixture just right. I hope that some one could tell me if it's as hard as I'm hearing.
