Does anybody have a speedometer on their four-wheeler.(One that doesnt come with it already on it). Where did you buy it and how much did it cost? Is it made for a bike or specifically designed for your atv. Thanks

Also i would like to know if you have to set it up or anything when u put it on. I know that ona car if you put larger or smaller tires it will make the speedo incorrect. sorry for all my spelling mistakes!!

I bought a Garmin GPS.... It not only provides MPH, it also has: average speed, top speed, distance traveled, trip time, and provides you with a "track" to allow you to find your way back, (it is also water proof). You can purchase a Garmin E-Trex for about $120. You can buy a special mount for it at http://www.freshtracksmaps.com/ram-mounts.htm for $30.

Hope this helps.

I have put a Cateye Enduro bicycle computer on 2 Raptors and a Banshee. You calibrate it by marking the tire and rolling it one full revolution and measuring the distance it rolled. That number gets entered into the unit.

Here is a thread I started a while back. I haven't tried the bicycle speedo yet, but I plan to.

I bought a digital bike speedometer at sears and put it on my blaster. i mounted it on the handlebars with some cable ties and put the sensor on the disc brake and the other tracking thinga magjigg right next to it. Mine also has other features other than just speed such as average speed top speed, and odometer, trip meter, and others. you will have to get more wire and splice it to make it work they dont give you enough. I DO have some problems with mine, it is supposed to work down to zero degrees or something but if the temperature outside is below 40 degrees it doesnt work! I have no clue why its brand new... Cost for one of those is 25.00 and a while putting it on.. took me a few hours to get it right. good luck.

I also installed the CatEye speedometer on my wheeler. They offer a standard model, and an enduro model. I went for the enduro because it looked a little heavier. I wasnt sure how well this thing would hold up, or how acurate it would be. I checked it against my friends gps after a 17 mile ride and they were very close. I have about 600 miles on it with no problems. Any way I am very happy with it so far.

You can buy it at just about any decent bicycle shop for 29.95. It works great, is very accurate, and is well worth it. I highly recommend installing it.
