I haven't been inside my Raptor's clutch yet but the Banshee has an internal clutch adjustment. Perhaps the Raptor is the same. In any case, there is an arrow on the clutch actuator and another arrow on the engine case. These arrows should be lined up when the internal clutch adjustment is correct. When I installed a Barnet clutch in my Banshee it gave the same symptoms you describe. I corrected it by adjusting the clutch. If your clutch cable has no freeplay the clutch will slip. I have a feeling that many of the people complaining about clutch fade may not have enough clutch cable freeplay. Remember that as the motor heats up the freeplay will lessen. Thats when the freeplay adjustment should be made. Don't be suprised if the machine moves in gear with the clutch engaged when the engine is started cold. If you adjust the freeplay on a cold bike the clutch will probably slip once it warms up.
