I have an 89 bb 350 which I recently broke a front ball joint on. When this happened, it also broke the inner CV joint. My question is this, How do I remove the CV housing from the diff? Do I need to open the diff? C-Clip inside maybe??

 

Axles just pull out of the diff on all ATVs. There held in by a compression c clip. There many utube videos showing how to pull them out.

Some axle splines and clips get rusty and are stubborn to yank out sometimes.
