Here is my list of parts needed so far. Anyone with a connection or knows where I can find this stuff pretty cheap let me know.

right front brake caliper & shoes
right front cv boot
front drive shaft with engine side u joint
rear end drive train complete axle diff housing gears etc.
The rear driveshaft is there, but I do not know the condition, so might as well include that.

Otherwise this quad goes to the part out boneyard. Unfortunately these days there are more people parting these things than trying to fix them. Probably should have passed this one up myself.

Have not pulled it yet, but I can turn the driveshaft and see it turning on the back of the motor. The diff is rumbling and vibrating pretty bad. You can actually see how loose the rear axle is in the diff as it kinda jumps around while it vibrates. Pretty much got to be the rear end based on that. I would pull the diff, but then I would not be able to move(push) the quad around to move it out of the way.

Would like to have the parts to put back in it before I pull anything so it's not wasting space sitting around the back yard in parts and pieces.

Anyone out there know the cross reference for parts on the 97 Wolverine rear end parts. I know some big bear, grizzley and another quad share some of the same parts.

I found a 98 350 Grizzly rear axle on ebay for sale and need to know if it fits the 97 wolverine I have. The pics look the same, but can't really tell. Anybody know?

You are in the same pickle as myself. I haven't torn my Moto4 Champ apart so it can stay on wheels and move it around. It has a rear axle issue too. Howe ever you have a better unite worth putting money into. If you find good used parts for around $300. I think you are still ahead of the game. I don't think this Moto4 will ever be worth $300 at 100%.

Yep, the parts for these old quads are out there in warehouses, but they can't get anywhere close to retail price for them anymore. Simply because the value of the quad itself is almost nothing now. On ebay a guy wants $350 for a USED(looks worn out) rear diff. Also a few rear axles out there they want $300 for. I'm like you. The most I will pay is $300 for everything, and even that's a ripoff. Considering the quad is worth maybe $500 running condition.

OK getting tired of looking at this non usable quad, and it's taking up valuable space. I still want to fix it, but need those drive train parts at a reasonable price. Otherwise I will sell the running motor assembly and part out anything else worth selling. Anyone know of some good used parts for sale they can hook me up with?

don't tell the stealerships that, they'll give you $300 trade in and charge someone $2000 for the same machine!
