HELP ME Got a 99 grizzly 600 when i got it had no spark. checked the grounds check stator reading where close to spec.but off a little coil tested good. kill switch and key switch test good. no bad wires replaced the cdi box . now i have spark .but still wont start trys once in awhile kicks back hard and rips the pull cord out of my hand . ( ouch) compressen is good seems like a timeing problem to me!! any help id be grateful thanks flash21m

 

got the carb cleaned? if you got spark and compression sounds like a fuel delivery problem. try squirting a bit of gas straight in to the cylinder through the spark plug hole and see if it pops off for a sec.

 

thanks I put gas in the plug hole no different tryed spraying gas in the carb. when turning it over it seems to hit a hard spot and kick back and it kicks out the bendix like its a timeing issue? what u think? Carb has been cleaned and rebuilt thanks flash

 

wondering if the timeing is off. like to check the marks does anyone know how to check them or have pic of it any help id be grateful this thing has gave me a headahe thanks flash21m
