Default 2001 kodiak newbie

hello folks newbie here love browsing here learn alot/but time for a ? i have the chance to buy a 2001 kodiak for 1500 the only thing seen to be a problem is that it will only start with pull cord ,but starts instantly is this a major deal say cdi or just something simple like solenoid or maybe starter thanks for any input in advance

sounds like the starter pull it off and have it tested then go from there

If a starter is the only issue...Thats nothing.

if thats the only issiu you can take it out and bring it some were to get it tested and they can tell you if its bad or good

iv gone through 3 starters on my 2003 out lander and thats what it will do just completly stop working then it will only start with pulling the rope
