Default ATV Coolant

Hiya
I'm a little hesitant to go out and get just any 'coolant' for my quads. Just what is ok and what is not. I know that coolant has to be aluminum friendly, but a lot of coolant products 'say' they are ok for aluminum.
So is there anything that is widely used in ATV's?

Thanks

Green EG is what I see in quads. Regular old Prestone will work fine.

You can use PG too if you want but why? No advantage unless you blow a hose and your cat licks up the EG and dies.

What ever you do DO NOT mix the two. I have seen what happens and it's not good.

Some on here have fancy stuff like Enans and whatever. There is a lot of drawbacks to a lot of this fance stuff.

IMHO just put so Prestone in it and go ride.

Use a premix so you don't have to mix antifreeze and water in such small quantities and make sure it says it is good for all engines. I used some heavy-duty Fleetguard premix because that's what I have on hand.
