jetting?

Question jetting?

ok so i am getting an hmf slip on pipe and i want a dyno jet kit for it but whats all of this stage 1 stage 2 stage 3 stuff what do i get for my 2005 raptor 350 is there a certain stage? or something? plz help

First, if you are ONLY doing a slip on, don't bother with the Dynojet kit. You are at most looking at going up 1 or 2 sizes on the main, and maybe 1 size on the pilot. Just buy the jets you need, some places will even sell the jets as a kit with the exhaust. Contact HMF too, as they are real good at getting you close on jetting before ever even firing it up. The kits are decent if you are making a lot of mods, but I was able to buy a whole bunch of individual jets from a major online place for less than the price of one of those kits. Off brand jets, but numbered/sized the same as stock Keihein carb, so I was real happy(Dynojet uses a different sizing system.) Just my 2 cents

ok well i was also looking at getting fmf power core 4 full exaust and k & n air filter so would i jet it then? and would it hurt if i did anyway?

Again, I would check with FMF as to what kind of jetting you will need, but going up 1-2 main and one pilot size should be pretty close with that exhaust and filter.

For the record, I prefer a foam style filter over K&N for anything but sand riding, I just think they protect your engine better and only have a small airflow penalty. My opinion, and plenty of folks will swear by the K&N products...

fmf powercore 4 or hmf comp series which one adds more hp
