what's a "wud"

according to the urban dictionary, could be someone of low moral fortitude...

Urban Dictionary: wud

So, I re-wrote the op's question so others don't have to spend an hour reading it over and over again to understand exactly what he's talking about.

Ok, so I have a 2005 Yamaha raptor 350 and recently when I drive it, it keeps shifting up into 5th gear from 4th gear. As soon as it kicks into 5th gear, it suddenly starts revving really high- kind of like if you pinned the gas while in neutral. I’m worried I blew the engine, but if that was the case, it wouldn’t run, right? What’s wrong with it? Like I said, it only happens occasionally. I would really appreciate a little help.

Hmmm. I would first check the pipe for rust- if it has none... then I would check the clutch
