I recently bought a 250 moto 4 I know it was made between 89 and 91 i just don't know where to find the vin to tell. i know that some of ya'll could tell the year by color so it is tan. and i need a link to the specs or a scan of the owners manual for the specs. any help you could provide will be greatly appreciated

 

The VIN is located on the frame just in front of where the gear shift is. It is actually stamped into the frame so you have to look to really see it. I would pull that and call your local dealer and read him the number and he should be able to look it right up. I was not sure they made the Moto 4 in any color other than blue. I have a 91 and it is blue and I think in about 92/93 they went to it in the 350 but it was still blue so not sure about that.

Looks like my 87 250 Moto4 but it was red. It even had a low range believe it or not.
