Hi,

After coming off the trails today I had about a mile to go down the gravel road before I got to my truck. I opened it up and was going about 45mph when all of a sudden I heard loud backfire and the quad started to slow down. When i tried to give it some gas, it would slow down even more. After I came to a stop, I tried to give it gas, it would slowly start moving, but would stall out right after that. I can turn it on and it idles but as soon as i give it some throttle it backfires, also backfires thru the carb and stalls out. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

Follow up, after closer inspection I found that boot between carb and engine intake has slipped off of carb. All good now.
