I like to share something good when I have the chance to.

I ordered some Holeshots and wheels for my Raptor about 3 weeks ago from Moto-Man.com. When they arrived, the front tires were flat. I just thought they needed air, so I filled them to the proper limit. The next day, they were low again. Deciding not to give up, I thought that they just needed to be rode a bit to loosen up the sidewalls and create a tighter fit, so that is what I did. Once again, the next day they were low/flat.

Yesterday, I stood my quad on end to wash the underside. While washing it, I heard an air leak in the front tire. Upon examining it, I found that both fronts had tiny pin holes in them.

I called Moto-Man, but they offered no type of warranty, even from the first day that I purchased them, or so they said. I then called the ITP headquarters and asked to speak to tech support. The gentleman on the phone asked me to describe the location and read off the manufacturing number from the tires so that I wouldn't have to send them in. He also stated that the guy at Moto-Man had misled me because ITP authorizes all of their dealers to do warranty exchanges. Then he asked me for my address and told me to expect a new set of tires in about 6 days!

All I ever asked for was a bottle or two of Slime so that I could seal up the leaks. It seems that by asking for little, I was rewarded by receiving much.

I just thought that their excellent customer service was worth mentioning since it's getting harder and harder to find.

 

Did they let you keep the old tires?

 

Yep, told me to just trash them if I didn't want them. Who could ask for more?

I assume you got the rears as well. Did you get 20's or 22's? How do you like 'em?

I did get the 22" rears and for a couple of reasons. 1) Most of the places that I ride is rutted up pretty bad and the taller tire gives me some more ground clearance. 2) See item 1 and add "MUD" and 4x4 ATVs using the same trails. 3) Other places I ride are really rocky and I like the added comfort of a taller tire with 6-ply and I also like the rim protector that is built into the rear tires on the XCTs.

I just rode a Turkey Bay which is a state ran ORV/atv area that is very rocky. The big holeshots came through with flying colors.

Worth mention though is this: With a 22" tire, you are geared 10% higher. To compensate for this, I went with a 12 tooth front and a 43 tooth rear. The final result is in between a 12 tooth and 13 tooth gearing with stock rear sprocket and tires. Exellent for the woods. However, I had to add lenght to the chain. A 42 tooth would have been okay and i wouldn't have had to hassle with extra links.

Also, I got wheels with the tires. I ordered 10" rears to reduce the height of the sidewall with the taller tires. Using a 22" tire and a 10" wheel, I'm only 1/2" higher on the sidewall when compared to a 9" wheel with a 20" tire or the same as a 8" wheel and 20" tire. Although I'm not sure how much, this can only help the handling, but stock wheels would probably be okay as well.

The tires worked great in the woods also.
