warrior question
#1
Recently got 87 warrior been working on...had a few things to fix so now I got fuel and spark, still got starter clutch issues I think, but pull start is broke so I want to try and start by using a drill and socket at the crank I think, where the pull start was....WHICH ROTATES WHICH DIRECTION??????? Only way I have been able to start is by roll starting ....why will it not fire when cranking over with a drill ???? Is it because I am leaving compression relief valve open????...any help would be greatly appreciated...

Here is a way to find out and answer your question. Put the quad in 4th or 5th gear and push the quad foward and look and see which way the crank turns. Done.

When you're cranking it with a drill, get it turning over and then take the compression relief off. The engine can't build any compression with the exhaust valve open (which is what the compression relief does).
The crank probably rotates couter-clockwise, but I'm not 100% sure.
